Peekapak is a holistic wellbeing education suite for K12 schools looking to prioritize socio-emotional skills in their classrooms. Privacy & Safety
  • Privacy & security: Student security at privacy is of the utmost importance at Peekapak. They are both COPPA and FERPA compliant.
  • Crisis protocols: Peekapak is a preventive and promotional SEL platform. At this time, it does not include crisis detection, AI-generated risk flagging, or direct student mental health assessment. When student wellbeing check-ins surface concerns, educators are prompted to follow up directly, keeping a trusted adult at the center of any response. Protocols for escalation are guided by and deferred to each school or district's existing safeguarding and student support policies.
Data provided to school/district

Peekapak provides educators and administrators with dashboards tracking student engagement, wellbeing check-in responses and usage data across the school/district. Insights surface trends in student emotional states over time, supporting early identification of students who may need additional support.

Accessibility
  • Web accessibility: Peekapak uses accessiBe to support WCAG 2.1 AA compliance across its web-based platform, providing accessibility adjustments including screen reader optimization, keyboard navigation, and visual display modifications. Accessibility features are continuously monitored and updated. Note: Unity-based game components may have varying compliance.
  • Language accessibility: Student facing parts of the program are translated into Spanish and Arabic. Specifically storybooks and student handouts.
