Impact
- Intended outcomes: Improved agency, motivation, and help-seeking behavior. Teens create personalized action plans to navigate challenges using evidence-based Single Session Interventions grounded in self-determination theory.
- Demonstrated outcomes: Dr. Schleider's research reaching 100,000+ youth. In one school district in New York, 74% of teens who started a mini-activity completed it; this is more than double the completion rate observed in prior evaluations of naturalistic digital SSI deployment. Among those who completed a Navi mini-activity, roughly 2/3 felt less hopeless afterward than they had beforehand, a statistically meaningful shift (p = .014) on one of the most clinically important outcomes in youth mental health.
